Irish life Health Price Decrease from 12/06/2018

We are delighted to announce that Irish life Health will be reducing health insurance premiums by an average of 2.4% with effect from June 12th. An adult will save an average of €53.91 while there will be an average saving of €15.75 per child.  This price reduction means that a family of four on Irish Life Health Select Plus will save up to €225 on their plan.  This is their second price reduction this year.  These reductions are as a result of an improved claims experience combined with a continued emphasis on cost management resulting in savings being passed on to Irish Life Health Members.

Irish Life Health Members will now also have access to many new benefits on their hospital plan upon renewal, such as cover for the HPV vaccine for boys and cover for treatment in minor injury clinics on all plans.  For example, on the Select Plus plan, members will receive 70% cover of up to €200 for minor injury clinic visits.

They are also launching new maternity benefits on a range of their plans to support expectant mothers before and after childbirth.  This includes some innovative and relevant offerings such as access to a Gentlebirth app, home early support form a midwife and a ‘Welcome Home Food Hamper’.

These new benefits follow the introduction of an international second opinion benefit and the launch of BeneFit plans earlier this year.
